24.01.2022 Gadhaba’s long awaited edible/medicinal garden at the Botanic Park is finally underway following a successful grant application to the Department of Health and Human Services’ Korin Korin Balat Djak division. Whilst there's not much to see at present, keep an eye on the north east section of the park, particularly as we approach autumn and in late autumn/early winter when we’ll be planting we’d love some help. We’ll keep you posted. We’re working with Mansfield Shire Council and gratefully acknowledge the support of Angus Durkin of Elegant Earth Design Landscape and Delatite Landcare Group.

17.01.2022 The wonderful display by Auntie Bernadette Franklin at Bonnie Doon for Naidoc week...
14.01.2022 Gadhaba participant Angela ten Buuren (Franklin) has shared this diorama with the Mansfield Community for Naidoc Week 2020, Mansfield still holds a special place in Angela’s heart. Angela and Aunty Bernadette are currently working with Goulburn Broken, Up2Us Landcare, Edible Eden designs and TLaWC on a garden project with Mansfield High School students. The garden project is part of the School’s community learning for year ten students, the different groups have worked togeth...er with the students to develop the garden design and to create suitable signage for the garden which also includes an outdoor classroom for the whole school. Gadhaba will also be involved. Angela as part of GADHABA is also helping with the signage for the Indigenous garden project at the Mansfield Botanical garden. Headed by Rosie Brennan who is leading Gadhaba in this incredibly special project. Both projects will be launched next year. Although the diorama is based around the Yea Wetlands it is relevant to all Taungurung country which includes Mansfield. Please enjoy! See more
