25.01.2022 There will be NO CANTEEN FOR GRADE 5/6 THIS FRIDAY. Grade 5/6 will be attending the SPSSA Gala Day at Cornelian Bay on Friday 27 November. Notices being sent home today.

23.01.2022 RE-USABLE LUNCH WALLETS Re-usable lunch wallets for lunch orders will be available from the office to purchase from tomorrow morning (Thursday 6 May). These lunch wallets are to be used only for children’s canteen orders.... Orders and money are placed in the front pocket of their named lunch wallet and sent to the office; and children receive their lunch enclosed in the lunch wallet at their classroom. After lunch children take their lunch wallet home to use next time they order their lunch from the canteen. We are subsidising the cost of these so that parents can purchase them for the low price of $3.50 each. A range of colours are available on a ‘first in, best dressed’ basis.

23.01.2022 Pre-Kinder will begin on Monday 19th October at 9:30am in the kinder classroom. Your child must be enrolled for kinder 2021 at our school in order to be eligible to attend. Enrolment forms are available from the office. Pre-Kinder requires one parent to attend, and we ask that only the pre-kinder child comes as this is an important time in becoming familiar with the kinder classroom and routines and making connections with their peer group. We look forward to welcoming our kinder 2021 class to our school.

22.01.2022 We are extremely excited for our Colour Fun Run tomorrow! We have over $2,200 raised both online and offline. You have until 16 October to fundraise so keep up the awesome work!! If you haven't already, head online and create your profile for fundraising; or collect a sponsorship booklet from the school office.... Reminders for parents: Children will be leaving school at 12.15 pm tomorrow to head to Bond Place. Wear white or light coloured clothing that you're happy to be coloured. Finishing time is 2.20 pm to return to school. Children can be collected from Bond Place after the event, however parents who are collecting children must see their class teacher to have their child dismissed. Parents and friends very welcome and encouraged to attend, however are asked to stay in allocated areas and adhere to social distancing rules. 10.01.2022 Our LEGO Masters Club had a trial run today in the 2/3 class. Students demonstrated their ability to work in teams, using their literacy, spatial awareness and creative skills to make a tsunami, a mo-ped, houses and other structures. Such a wonderful and engaging way to learn.

08.01.2022 Launching into Learning Excursion to Bonorong Park Lots of lovely interaction with the kangaroos, and children noticing the feathers, fur and scales on our native wildlife, and even some spikes! A lovely way to finish up our inquiry for the term. I wonder what we might explore in the coming weeks?

07.01.2022 Our Colour Fun Run will be held on THURSDAY 24 SEPTEMBER. The Colour Fun Run is great way to encourage students to participate in physical activity and raise money for our school. This year we are collaborating with MONA to encourage a community centred event; therefore the event will take place at Bond Place.
