Adult - $50/session Consession holder - $30 Youth (under 18) - $30 Jess has come most recently from headspace Morwell, where she worked with some of our most vulnerable youth. Jess is Trauma informed, a qualified Drug and Alcohol Clinician and worked as a Registered Nurse for 25 years, which included Withdrawal nursing, working in the prison systems; as well as 5 years at our own Yarram Hospital. She has some good tips for dealing with anxiety and depression; and is comfortable working with other non crisis mental health issues. She has been a life time student of Mindfulness and has more recently studied ACT - acceptance and commitment therapy. Jess also loves her 'Energy' work and hopes to develop that further also. 10.01.2022 The wheel, she turns, again and again. And here in the Southern hemisphere we begin the celebration of Lammas, or the feast of Lugh. A Time of the Abundant promise! It is the first harvest festival and denotes a whole season of gathering in. ... Traditionally, Lammas, a Saxon word, relates to loaves we associate with the harvested grain of the season. Lugh (Lughnasadh) was a Celtic fire God who gave his life in sacrifice at this time, to ensure a good harvest. The first fruits of our years harvest are showing in our lives. The lazy days of summer linger, and we're still wrapped in the warmth of abundance from our harvest. There is a buzz of well being at this time, Summer is not yet done but is already offering up the first signs of a bounty well spent. It is a time to join hands and give thanks to what we have managed to bring to bear so far, knowing there is one last phase before the Summer energy truly starts to wane. Use this sun blessed Energy to push dreams and projects one step further. It's a time of Celebration, Community, of helping those less fortunate - sharing the abundance of your harvest. A time to connect with Mother Earth and give Thanks. And while here in Australia, we have been ravaged with bush fires - Mother's showing us who's boss, and she doesn't like our behaviour. You can also see the beginnings of new life breaking through amongst all the devastation. It's a time to make the needed changes, by connecting and listening to the earth - our true mother ...
