20.01.2022 We are in middle of peak winter here down under and that means dry, dehydrated skin issues. During winter, our body’s are mostly covered but our face is exposed to all elements and that goes for any and all seasons. As for winter,we face cold, dry winds In summer the heat causes dehydration. Often I come across clients who make these issues worse by using harsh cleansing products on the skin such as bar soaps, over use of foaming cleansers, over exposure to sun, heat and... also by washing face with hot water yikes!!! Only today one of my clients asked me if it was too late for her to do something about her skin that was particularly heading for a long term damage with such practices I believe that although we can’t reverse ageing, there is definitely room for improvement and it is never too late to start caring for your skin I strongly recommend everyone to have a cream based cleanser on hand and yes! Even oily skin types. It is always good to give break to your skin from over use of foaming cleanser. It is not necessary to keep cleansing the natural oil (sebum) in your skin with foaming cleansers The oil in our skin has a function and as long as there is no congestion present in ur skin, it is a sign of healthy skin. To wake up with a healthy lily glow on the skin Even for someone with acne issues, over use of foaming cleanser can exacerbate the problem.
