18.01.2022 This little number was designed by my son for a school project and rendered by his very talented dad @dorianmorellidesigns It might not look like your conventional ancillary dwelling but with more people enquiring and building these with project builders rather than granny flat specialists they are anything but boring. So just what do you need know? You need a minimum block size of 450sqm so if you’re still at the land stage and planning a house plus ancillary make sure you... look for blocks no smaller than 450sqm. This is the minimum requirement. The codes allow a maximum of 70sqm dwelling however you can add alfresco and carports on top of that. If you’re on a rural block then usually you can build up to 80sqm of dwelling.
