25.01.2022 Today we wrap up a great season with our youngest Galaxy superstars. Milky Ways - our littlest team were sponsored by our amazing uniform Suppliers Stellar. They were lead by Tracey and Vee:... It has been a pleasure coaching these awesome girls. These girls have grown so much with their skills, confidence and can do attitude. Keep an eye out for these future stars!!!

21.01.2022 The 2020 Marsbars were a formidable moddies team supported by Chelsea (coach) Jenny (manager), Cheryl (umpire) and a supporter base that would rival the Qld maroons! As a team the players trained hard, had lots of fun and laughs and developed their skills. This translated on the court with the Marsbars putting on some impressive plays, shooting lots of goals and winning numerous games. The winning part being far less important than the pride that we all felt watching ...the team put into play skills that they had learnt at training. One particular highlight was watching the team do the "caterpillar" in the shooting circle (a move taught by Mel O'Brien at the MI Scaffold Energy Netball Clinic). These kids are amazing ! They love to learn and love their nettie! Watching each individual player develop their skills, try on court what we learn at training and grow as a team and players brings us all so much joy! Saturday is the best day of the week during netball season - we get to spend it with the Galaxy Marsbars! The Marsbars were sponsored by Moohin 2.2 Line Boring. More future Galaxy stars to look out for!!

20.01.2022 *edit -players turning 16 in 2021* S E N I O R P R E - S E A S O N T R A I N I N G Pre-season training for seniors (from turning 16 in 2021 onwards+) will commence on Monday 18/01/2021. Senior sessions will be twice per week - every Monday and Wednesday commencing 5.30pm at Leprechaun Park, Milton Street Mackay.... You are able to attend either session - or both sessions (to gain maximum fitness benefits). We have secured the services of a qualified personal trainer to run the sessions for us. These sessions will be netball specific designed to improve our members strength and conditioning and fitness in readiness for the 2021 netball season. To book your place in the sessions please go to the following trybooking link: https://www.trybooking.com/BNZOJ THERE IS NO COST TO ATTEND. However, numbers are capped in each session. If you book and subsequently cannot attend - please advise as early as possible so that the position can be reallocated. 18.01.2022 S A T E L L I T E S 2020 netball season was a challenging one, although we didn’t make it through to the finals, every time the team took the court they played with good spirit and sportsmanship. The girls improved throughout the season and build up team camaraderie. Thanks to our wonderful sponsors North Jacklin Nissan the team were fitted out with sunsafe polos.

After sitting 2nd on the ladder for most of the season we ended up in 4th position but we finished with a win and a smile. 01.01.2022 Last but not least in the wrap up of our Junior season the 2020 Starbursts. Starbursts were sponsored by Tincone Industrial Services and were lucky enough to be provided with Sunsafe Polos. Thank you Tincone!! The Starbursts were lead by Amity and Allison and made Friday afternoons (training) the highlight of the week. We had lots of laughs (even a Tiktok) and every week the girls brought what they learned at training to the game on Saturday.... The improvement from Round 1 to the last Round was amazing. There were brilliant passages of play, strong defence, amazing catching and passing and fantastic shooting. One game each team member scored goals for just that one game. These girls move up into the under 12 competition in 2021 and Amity and Allison are grateful to be a part of their netball experience. Another group of stars to keep an eye out for!!
