Now our diggers can get back to work but more importantly it will make the clean up and repairs easier for all the homes & businesses who got hit by this once in a generation deluge. 15.01.2022 The recently upgraded Coastal Walk, known locally as the 'Doctors Walk' is one of Port Macquarie's best loved things to do. From your front door at Galerie it's a couple of minutes to Town Beach then follow the path for around 9km to Tacking Point Lighthouse. There are shorter options also with stops at any of the beautiful beaches along the way. Enjoy a bbq at one of the rest areas or grab a coffee, cold drink or meal at beachside cafes Salty Crew Kiosk Town Beach or Sandbox Flynns Beach. Between May & November you may see whales and pods of dolphins are not uncommon.
