Plantar fasciitis is one of the most common foot condition causes heel pain. It effects people of all ages including athletes and those that are on their feet for long periods of time. Plantar fasciitis symptoms involves inflammation of a thick band of tissue that runs across the bottom of your foot and connects your heel bone to your toes (plantar fascia). When your plantar fascia develops micro tears or becomes inflamed it is known as plantar fasciitis. It can be caused by: - Wearing shoes with soft soles and poor arch support - Being overweight, this is due to the increased pressure on your plantar fascia ligaments . - Pregnancy. - Spending a lot of time on your feet. - Flat feet - Tight Achilles tendon In each session you'll get to experience this unique technique of self massage, which will help your body releasing all the sore stiff areas. Control: Every Pilates exercise is completed with absolute control, with a consciousness of all body parts. Control, rather than intensity or repetition is the focus of performing Pilates exercises correctly. Precision: There is an appropriate placement and alignment for each body part during a Pilates exercise. Precision can make the difference between activating a muscle or not, and between achieving a stabilization/strength goal or not. Having self-awareness of how your body is moving through space.
