13.01.2022 Tsourekia by Diana and Galini. On Holy Thursday my friend Diana and I headed into our respective kitchens in our first attempt at making Greek Easter Brioche. The recipe is from her wonderful mother Mrs Eleni M, who every year would gift my family couple of loaves for Easter. For my personal fussy taste buds, Mrs Eleni makes the best tsoureki. Soft, stringy, fluffy and full of the signature flavours of Greece. It was such a pleasure reading through Mrs Eleni’s 60 year ol...d recipe book with Diana. A book full of old traditional recipes from Asia Minor such as Pontus, Smyrna and Constantinople. These traditions hail from our family’s ancestors and it is such an honour to have them handed down from generation to generation. We promise to do them proud. Happy Greek Easter to all!
