24.01.2022 Here's another peak at some of the gorgeous garden art that will be on show at The Gallery from Friday 6 to Sunday 8 November... This is 'Campsites by the Myall' by Galleries in the Gardens artist Vickie Christy.

24.01.2022 Why not have a pretty special Mum time by dropping into The Gallery with her while the two Fabulous! and Mothers exhibitions are on? There are cafes and bakery and restaurant right next door for a cuppa & cake or lunch to round off the excursion. We're receiving rave reviews at present - "so very pretty and lively" said one couple; "bright and uplifting - its made my day" said another visitor. It closes at 4pm the day after Mothers Day.... Pic: more Fabulous! exhibition paintings; and a ceramic/wood Mothers exhibition entry by GIG artist Jacqui Bright.

20.01.2022 The Garden Art Exhibition is now on at The Gallery - today thru to and including Sunday 8 November - 10am to 4pm. Creative works for the garden, as well as garden-inspired works. Have a wander thru The Gallery's garden to see pretty herb labels, bold carvings, gorgeous ornamental 'birds in cages', colourful glass-beaded objects, 'ceramic & moss' gardens, and more. ... Inside our cottage has a decidedly garden theme too! There's painted plantings, sculptured garden inhabitants... and even a fairy house! Great Christmas gifts for yourself, your garden or your loved ones :) Picture: Bess the Barn Owl by Galleries in the Gardens artist Sylvia Reczek.

18.01.2022 From 1 November The Gallery reverts back to its Summer operating schedule. We'll be open Wednesday to Monday, 10am to 4pm. (So only closed Tuesdays and the occasional public holiday - and staying open an hour later Wed-Mon).... There are plenty of new works to see - and Christmas gift ideas already starting to arrive :) We look forward to welcoming you sometime soon!

17.01.2022 Come & see local HSC students' works in the Galleries in the inaugural Gardens Student Art Award. On exhibition now at The Gallery! Some of the students would like to find homes for their works - you're welcome to make an offer our reception desk. For instance, the ceramics & painting by Shona (pictured).

17.01.2022 The exhibition of HSC Student entries in the inaugural Galleries in the Gardens Student Art Award is now on! Today thru to and including this Sunday, 10am to 3pm. 15.01.2022 Last chance to see the results of the inaugural Galleries in the Gardens Student Art Award is TODAY. Exhibition opens at 10am and closes at 3pm. Pic: Indiana with her etchings.

12.01.2022 Please Note: There will be no wheelchair/handicapped access to The Gallery on Monday 26 April, due to building work. Our sincere apologies if that access was part of your plan for Monday.

12.01.2022 HAPPY NOVEMBER! The Gallery is now open 10am to 4pm Wednesdays to Mondays (just closed Tuesdays and the occasional public holiday). Not long now until our Garden Art Exhibition... starting this Friday 6/11 for three days only!

08.01.2022 The Gallery is now open on Mondays too! So that's every day except Tuesdays and some public holidays - 10am to 4pm. 07.01.2022 See it while you can! The Fabulous! and Mothers exhibitions close this coming Monday 10 May. And you've only got this week to grab a Mothers' Day gift or art card from The Gallery. Here's another view of the exhibitions you'll see!... #art #exhibition #mothersday #mothersdaygifts #gifts #TeaGardens #TheGallery

07.01.2022 Teri Dragon attracted a lot of fans while he was in the Galleries in the Gardens Student Art Award exhibition at The Gallery. His maker, Harrison Hughes, also offered him for sale, and said: I love the movie ‘How to Train your Dragon’. Terri is a character out of this movie. Even though he is seen as a monster, looks can be deceiving. You can be friends with anybody, it’s all about what they feel inside that counts. This touched Lee Anderson so much that she bought Teri! And with a strong feeling that Harrison would like to keep seeing his Dragon, she has donated Teri to Bulahdelah Central School where he’ll be put on display.

07.01.2022 Here's some interesting reading! Editor Kymberly from Freedom2Live was quite taken with our Award and has run a lovely story for us on its website... It gives insight into some aspects of Bulahdelah Central School that you might not be familiar with; how its been more than challenging in this COVID year for visual arts teacher Sue Cross in particular - and introduces some of the students whose work you can see in the Galleries in the Gardens Student Art Award Exhibition on now 'til Sunday! https://bit.ly/34xcPsX

06.01.2022 Another peak at what's on at The Gallery, Tea Gardens currently. Double exhibitions and lots of real floral embellishments makes this little cottage's interior a real treat for the eyes! Set conveniently amongst the waterfront cafe strip at Tea Gardens, and with a delightful garden surrounding, it is a 'must see' :)... Great for mums day gifts too - and everything at The Gallery is created by the talented Galleries in the Gardens artists. Not just paintings and ceramics, but artisan jewellery and scarves, handy zip-up pouches, music CDs, novels (yes our area is home to great writers too), decorative art for gardens, artisan cards - and more! #Fabulous! #gifts #art #gallery #thegallery #teagardens #galleriesinthegardens #thingstodo #MothersDay #mothersdaygift

03.01.2022 ALL THIS RAIN means gloriously lush gardens by the time the weather warms up :) And our coming Garden Art Exhibition will have a host of eye-catching items to 'add icing to the cake', so to speak. Here's a sneak peak!... Exhibition opens Friday 6 Nov thru to Sunday 8 Nov, 10am to 4pm at The Gallery :) Pic: Lee Anderson's 'Owl Family'.

02.01.2022 The inaugural Galleries in the Gardens Student Art Award has concluded. Our thanks to everyone who helped make it great - especially the Bulahdelah Central School's students. We loved being able to show off your works to everyone who visited The Gallery :) For those of you who missed the exhibition, here are a few of the works - and you can see others if you scan down the last week of our Facebook posts: . Reuben Brough with his two Japanese anime style interpretations of... the Mona Lisa and Michelangelo's Creation of Adam; . Joel Keegan working on his two-point perspective called 'Cityscape'; . Shea Matenga standing in front of his detailed 'Failed Experiment' work; . Celeste Stubbs with 'The Future is Female'; . and Shannon Powick working on 'Doomsday' - his cartoon version of the self-produced Rap/Hip Hop artist MF Doom. Congratulations to all of you!

02.01.2022 For your diary :)
