25.01.2022 TOP 10 TIPS FOR WINTER PREP 1. Add a rug or runner for warmth under your feet in the kitchen area, 2. Bring your slow cooker out onto your bench so it’s easily accessible for the warm slow cooked winter stews and soups,... 3. Start making your jams before strawberries and apples go out of season. There is nothing better than spreading homemade jam over warm crumpets on a cold winters morning, 4. Add a cosy element to your dining area with layered textures like adding a table runner & placemats with candles to the table, a rug under the dining table, cushions on seats and diffuse some sandlewood oil in a diffuser on your bench, 5. Replace the lights from bright white to warm white to give that sense of warm glows in your home, 6. Dress your kitchen with warm neutral tones of dried or preserved flowers or add splashes of purples with hydrangeas or similar, 7. There is something about wood and winter that just go hand in hand so don’t be shy to leave out those nice big wooden boards on your benches to style your kitchen, 8. So intergrated appliances and accessories were a must along with recessed LED lighting under the overhead cabinetry. This image features the Miele ‘Knock’ to open dishwasher and Hafele pull out bin system. Yes you read it right, you knock on the dishwasher panel and it automatically opens!
