25.01.2022 The imaginative Tasmanian-based award-winning fine art photographer, Suellen Saidee Cook, does it again with her wonderfully insightful 'Self Isolation Series'. "This series was born from what was happening in our lives during the compulsory period of self-isolation. I plan for this series to be new images using the same base elements, representing the quirks and whimsies of everyday life as we might experience them during the isolation period. There is some artistic licence involved so don’t take it too seriously but I hope you can identify with some of these scenes and relate them to your own life during this difficult period and enjoy the whimsy, folly and humour I have tried to infuse into this situation we are all facing." ~ Suellen Saidee Cook http://ow.ly/hhCQ50AdQ6J

24.01.2022 We can all use something to smile about, right? Well...the latest painting by Tasmanian artist, Zina Kurtschenko entitled 'Happy Ramblers' just might do the trick. Love it! https://ecs.page.link/GPWpE

24.01.2022 Another gorgeous painting by Tasmanian artist, Esther Shohet, entitled ~ 'In the Forest'. https://ecs.page.link/v2PC4 In the Forest "Out of the mid-wood’s twilight... Into the meadow’s dawn, Ivory limbed and brown-eyed, Flashes my Faun! He skips through the copses singing, And his shadow dances along, And I know not which I should follow, Shadow or song! O Hunter, snare me his shadow! O Nightingale, catch me his strain! Else moonstruck with music and madness I track him in vain!" - Oscar Wilde - See more

18.01.2022 Australian artist, Josie Birchall, pays tribute to "living large by living little" in her wonderful exhibition ~ "Paintings of Home". https://ecs.page.link/oxkGx Love grows best in little houses, with fewer walls to separate. Where you eat and sleep so close together, you can’t help but communicate.... If we had more room between us, think of all we’d miss. Love grows best in houses...just like this. ~ Lyrics from "Little Houses" by Doug Stone ~ See more

12.01.2022 Dear Friends, We hope you're all staying safe and keeping well which is the most important thing during these challenging times. We're just letting you know that we were a bit optimistic with our last notice and that our gallery closure will now be indefinite. In the meantime, you can still view available artworks on our website. Please don't hesitate to get in touch if you'd like more information on any of the work or if you'd just like to touch base. We'd sure love to hear... from you. Please take care of yourselves and one another, which at this time may have to be...from a distance. "From a distance, we are instruments Marching in a common band Playing songs of hope Playing songs of peace They are the songs of every man". ~ Julie Gold ~ Image by Tasmanian artist, Stuart Clues ~ 'Crossing the Dunes at Seven Mile Beach'. 01.01.2022 A favourite...new painting by Australian artist, Josie Birchall ~ 'Yesterday'. "I want to document the stories of people that are no longer with us and have painted this in a ‘blurry’ style, sort of to represent how over time our memories of people fade and become a bit blurry." http://ow.ly/TcIS50Amx5G
