20.01.2022 Ok guys I don’t ask for help very often but now I am! The voting for my round of the #worldwewant finals (Top75) is now underway. I need your votes! It requires you to download the Agora app at this link: - https://bit.ly/2ZfHklo then go to the #theworldwewant page where my round is open now. The image is this one and voting is only open for the next 12 hours. Every vote will count so please share around to friends and family - it would be very much appreciated

19.01.2022 Well it’s nearly over for another year but this week should still be ok in some areas on the @canolatrail I like this image for its simplicity and balance. The curved track adds a subtle movement from front to back. #canoltrail @lovelocalcoolamon #lovelocalcoolamon @youmeandjunee #youmeandjunee @visittemora #visittemora @visitwaggawagga #visitwaggawagga @visitnsw #visitnsw @sweetbriarcoolamon #sweetbriarcoolamon

18.01.2022 Royal Spoonbill in breeding plumage at Rowes Lagoon bear Collector NSW. About 20km West of Goulburn. It’s a real haven for birds especially now when full of water from recent rains. Well worth a visit but beware of Tiger Snakes! #roweslagoon @visitcollectornsw @goulburnaustralia @visitnsw #visitnsw @birdlifeoz #birdlifeoz @birdlifephotographyaustralia #birdlifephotographyaustralia @ Collector Federal Highway

17.01.2022 ‘Suburbia’ in Canberra takes many forms and New Acton is unique. It is home for many people it is described as one fine place to live, work and just be. It really put Canberra on the map for design, creativity and originality. Here I have chosen to frame the foreground with the Shine Dome another much awarded design from 1959. #dcphotocomp2020 @designcanberrafestival #designcanberrafestival @visitcanberra #visitcanberra #designcanberra @newacton #newacton #hotelhotelcanberra #nishibuilding #shinedome

09.01.2022 Just been advised of this Award by Capture magazine - very chuffed. I submitted a portfolio of three birds from the ACT as shown. Their message: 'The 2021 competition was our biggest yet and to be acknowledged at this level is an excellent achievement.' Thank you!

06.01.2022 I really liked this composition on the @canolatrail off Billabong Rd between Junee and Coolamon. I wanted to have individual Canola plants in focus in the foreground then contrasted with the green paddock and the diagonal lines of yellow providing visual interest in the centre. A distant canola crop draws the eye to the hills at the back so creating a series of layers under the subdued cloudy sky. To anchor the image one sole small tree does the job. #canolatrail @youmeandjunee #youmeandjunee @lovelocalcoolamon #lovelocalcoolamon @visittemora #visittemora @visitnsw #visitnsw @visitwaggawagga #visitwaggawagga @sweetbriarcoolamon #sweetbriarcoolamon

06.01.2022 A rabbit in @jerrabomberrawetlands - bnw with a stained glass background treatment in @topazlabs Studio2. Rabbits were introduced to Australia in the 18th Century on the First Fleet and became a pest and very invasive. They have caused millions of $ damage to crops. Various methods of control have been used including the most successful virus Myxomatosis in the 1950s. Since then they have adapted and partially recovered in numbers. Regardless I find them very photogenic #jerrabomberrawetlands @visitcanberra #visitcanberra #topazstudio2

03.01.2022 I know that many of you live overseas and interstate and cannot attend my current Exhibition National Arboretum Canberra so over the next weeks I will gradually share the Exhibition images with you. The selection was a collaboration with the Canberra Tree Network Members to whom I am eternally grateful. Eucalyptus stellulata, black sallee Old Boboyan Road, Namadgi National Park This large, dominating specimen of black sallee is thought to be close to 200 years old. Closely re...lated to the snow gum it grows on the fringes of frost hollows. During the 2020 Orroral Valley fire firefighters realised the significance of this tree and dedicated precious time to ensure its protection. Many other black sallees were lost in the fire, so it is a consolation that we still have this magnificent tree today. @actparks #actparksandconservation #actparks #namadginationalpark @visitcanberra #visitcanberra See more

02.01.2022 Very pleased to advise that one of my images has made Top 75 Finals from over 51,000 images internationally in #theworldwewant @agoraimages competition. The image will be featured in a series of Exhibitions by the United Nations around the world and being sent to the world’s leaders to support the #un75 campaign to discuss priorities for the future of the world. As part of this the Final 75 had to film a supporting statement - this is mine. The image itself features Emi and Jess from Victoria's Models with makeup by @Ally Trenear @unitednations @unitednationsaustralia #agora
