22.01.2022 As many of us in the group have experienced prem babies; we know the stresses, struggles and completely different way our babies were introduced to the world, with potential ongoing health issues and a lots of uncertanty. Well; get your family and friends together and participate in a bit of fun together to celebrate the ups and downs and to raise money for Lifes Little Treasures who some of you would have come across through your hospital stays?! This year there are planned ...walks across the state (check out the one nearest to you!) Or you can participate in a virtual way. My partner and our twins drove to Ballarat last year to participate in a walk around the lake. We got my Aunt and Cousin to register and join in too! My girls were 7 weeks prem and spent 5 weeks in SCN.

This allows all families to access a discounted membership, regardless of if, or how, you have been impacted by the economic changes triggered by the Coronavirus. Our new membership options are outlined below $38.00 - 2020 Normal Non school aged Membership - For families of non-school aged multiples able to pay full price member fee $20.00 - 2020 Normal School aged Membership fee - For families of school aged multiples able to pay full price member fee $12.00 - 2020 Hardship Membership - Families experiencing hardship throughout this time. AMBA are in discussions for alternative options but nothing is confirmed as yet. Below are some benefits and information about joining GAMBA: Membership is $38 per family for 12 months. Upon joining you receive a box of Huggies nappies which are sent out 6-8 weeks later. We also have formula discounts with... Blackmores and Bellamys, Hello Fresh discounts, an ABC Baby Card which has numerous discounts on clothing, nappies, toys plus many more. GAMBA also has a weekly playgroup in school terms on a Wednesday from 10am in Herne Hill. There are toys for all ages, a fenced in outdoor area plus a kitchen to make yourself a coffee! The cost is $5 per family per week. If you have any other children, they are also welcome to attend. We have a monthly newsletter which lists upcoming events and information relevant to our members. We have a Christmas party - previous parties have been held at an indoor play centre which is suitable for all ages with the club providing dinner and a visit from Santa with presents for all the children. Other events we hold through out the year include Mums dinners, Dads night out, plate & play in the park, movie nights, information sessions, cake stalls, family portraits, and other fundraising and social events. Thought Id give this volunteering thing a go, as Ive experienced some wonderful people in the GAMBA team, and Ive put my hand up and been allocated as the Social Media co-ordiantor. Im not 100% up with all the behind the scenes stuff, so please be patient with me! ... Feel free to contact me through messaging the page to give me some ideas of what you want, need, would like on these kind of pages. Im hoping to mix it up a bit, share some great resources and ideas, add a bit of humour and welcome all of your contributions. My identical twin girls are almost to 10 months (8mths corrected). They are our first and only kids. They are starting daycare next month, so things will be changing a lot in our household!
