18.01.2022 Lions Club of Gambier City assisting with Kidsflix 2020 at the Oatmil Cinema. This year was a bit different with restricted numbers due to social distancing. I am confident the kids had a good time as did the lions club members.

05.01.2022 Lions Club of Gambier City today hosted clubs from Zone 11 to share a spit roast luncheon. The club presented a cheque of $5500 to Australian Lions Childhood Cancer Research Foundation (ALCCRF) as the proceeds from our recent grocery grab raffle. Thanks to Lions Mike & Julie for hosting, Zone 11 chair Malcolm for his assistance and the clubs including Lions Garry and Keith from Millicent for attending. It was great that past members of Pt MacDonnell Lions made the effort to attend.

03.01.2022 Lions Club of Gambier City, President Jan and Lion Max selling raffle tickets today. Our club is holding a grocery grab raffle, to be conducted on Sat 5th Dec at Woolworths supermarket (Commercial St East). Tickets are available at $2 each, proceeds to ALCCRF (Australian Lions Childhood Cancer Research Foundation. Prizes include first of $500, sec $200 3rd $100. Look for us in the Woolies store like today. Thanks to Woolworths for supporting this event.
