24.01.2022 Here's the prize list (organisers reserve the right to change according to entries) - NOTE; - Fish to measured DOWN to the nearest cm ie 35.9cm is still 35cm, post event scrutineering will take place and photos will be inspected. - The lucky boat prize will be drawn on boat (not individual anglers) if the team chooses then we can put the team members in a hat a draw the winner. - YOU MUST BE PRESENT AT PRESENTATIONS TO WIN... - If the winner of the longest Flathead is also on the winning team OUTRIGHT then the longest individual longest fish prize will go to second longest (Snr only not Jnr or SF) - Mystery length prize is a random length draw from a hat (for 10 longest score) team prize. - Monetary prizes will be paid with cheque or bank transfer. - Do not BYO drinks to presentations at Geilston bay boat club, the bar will be open for booze purchases - The BBQ will be cranking and Wolf Pit BBQ will be there with their van selling smoked meats and goodies too. 21.01.2022 2020 Channel Marine - 7hofm DFC RULES OF ENGAGEMENT *INFO PACKS/BAGS WILL BE AVAILABLE FROM WEDNESDAY 29/1/19 FROM MOONAHA AUTO PARTS OR BY APPOINTMENT - this ...pack will have your grid map, score cards, rules and a bunch of goodies. 1. Fishing times 8am -3pm- Weigh in from 3-4.30pm, presentation and BBQ 4.30 for 5 at the Geilston bay boat club 2. Fishing boundaries Cadburys point and a line between Cape Direction (point inside Iron Pot light) and Tinderbox point. 3. Open to any registered and insured boat. 4. A team will consist of at least 2 members and maximum of 5 5. $120 entry includes day memberships for the team members (upgrades available for GFAA events later in the year) 6. Open to any line class or tackle (rod, handline) NO long or drop lines allowed. 7. Can use bait, lures or soft plastics (fish-based berley allowed) 8. Strictly no nets except for landing fish. 9. Longest 10 flathead count to the final score, winner will be the longest 10 fish added together for a total length. 10. Each team will need a time/date stamped camera (or phone) for proof of capture to present to the official scorer at the weigh in. PLEASE NOTE delete the pics you won’t be using so as to save time for the official. 11. Mystery length prize will be drawn from a hat closest to the length wins the prize. 12. Each team will need a VHF radio (channel to be confirmed) OR working mobile phone to text in their location to the organisers on the Bi-hour (for safety reasons) YOU MUST nominate VHF or MOBILE to organisers prior to start of fishing. 13. All craft must meet required standards for MAST. 14. Each team must present their brag mat for inspection at weigh in. 15. No lines in the water before 8am or after 3pm. 16. Anyone caught outside the boundaries during competition (time and distance) will be expelled from competition. 17. Rogue fish will be Salmon and will go on length for a Rogue fish prize 18. Female, Small fry and Junior anglers will have a separate award BUT if they are on the winning team their award will be forfeited to the next finishing Female S/F or Junior. 19. Boats may launch from any port WITHIN THE OFFICIAL GRID MAP and MUST let organisers know when, where and how many on board 20. The organisers reserve the right to cancel, post pone the start or finish of fishing early due to weather. 21. This is a catch and Release competition if you chose to keep your catch please abide my laws of MAST and Sea Fisheries Tas/DPIPWE in particular their catch limits and length (32cm) (You can still measure and release fish under 32cm for the competition BUT NOT KEEP) 22. Junior male and female age cut-off is 12y/o TO 16Y/O as at the 1ST OF February. 23. Small fry is 0-12 years of age 24. All crews must radio in their start/launch location, time of departure and number of people on board to the organisers AND report their positions on each radio/text sched on the bi-hour as per the official grid map. 25. when the comp time is called each team will need to text through their total length of their 10 longest Flathead to the organisers. The top 5 will be called up for scrutineering by the event officials who will go through pics and make sure they are all measured correctly. SPORTS FISHING CLUB of TASMANIA

11.01.2022 *Weigh in and Presentations* -Weigh in from 3pm at Geilston bay Boat Club - even though you have already text your total for your 10 longest Flathead to Mozz (0419743291) we still need your score card for individual prizes ie; Jnr, Female etc) - The top 5 teams at the completion of fishing will be required to bring their camera (pictures) and brag mat to presentations to be inspected by event officials. - You must be present to win the lucky door prizes - Sports Fishing Club of Tasmania Inc. will have a BBQ running with gold coin donations to SPEAK UP Stay ChatTY, Wolfpit_BBQ will have their van on site selling smoked meats and salad and Geilston Bay Boat Club will have their bar open for cold beverages (please dont BYO, Support those who support US)

10.01.2022 **PLEASE NOTE** - You can launch where ever and when ever you like on Saturday morning BUT you must NOT have any form of line in the water prior to the commencement of fishing (8am) - If you are launching outside the grid map (ie north of Cadbury's and south of Iron pot/Channel) you must be within the grid map between 8am and 3pm - NO entering OR leaving during comp times. - Make sure you get to the Geilston bay boat club to hand in your photo's/score card PRIOR to 4.30 (4.31 you will be excluded from results)
