23.01.2022 I am a Game Therapist and a registered member of Diversional and Recreational Therapy Australia. I work as a Program Instructor for a respected disability day services centre where I make games and toys to engage with hard-to-reach participants and help run their charity bike building program. I also work as a community support Worker, and in private practice as a Therapeutic Leisure Facilitator running art and gaming groups for such organisations as Austin Health. I am a li...fe long gamer and an internationally published writer and artist in the comic book industry. I am here to offer you the opportunity to play board games, tabletop games, role playing games, and card games. I can even organise group-play to build your network of game-playing friends. I can organise community visits to game shops and libraries where you can meet other gamers, or I can teach you to play games in the privacy of your own home or my studio. I can also help you make your own games, including sculpting and painting terrain and miniatures, or making your own personalised versions of your favourite board games. I can even help you make your own boards, game cards and tokens. I am originally a trade printer. I have post-trade qualifications in bookbinding - skills I can pass onto you to make your game manuals truly unique. I have a website with exhaustive listings of the games I have at my disposal, complete with video and written tutorials, and I also offer online, text only, versions of classic role playing games like Dungeons and Dragons and Super Squadran. Video games are more isolating by nature, he posits; generally, you play physically by yourself and your experience is basically determined by people you dont know. When theres an in-person social element, however, it changes the dynamic.... You have a lot more control over what kind of game you play, Hern says. Its less to do with the politics of the game, or what kind of social politics they believe in. With Warhammer, when youre actually playing it, youre more concerned with the other players around the table.

The guy you can't see in this photo is #cognitive but has a #degenerative syndrome where he has gradually become locked in his own #body. He's only 23. Through his #physiotherapist I discovered he still has some free muscle movement in his left arm, and she also told me when he was a boy he loved #footballstatistics. . He cut and #measured all of the pieces for this #catapult ...football game. He also glued and #painted it as well. His #brother is a #builder and so we used #housepaint. They plan on playing this game #together on #ChristmasDay.
