21.01.2022 Congratulations to Jim Memeti on his clear win, receiving 61% of the primary votes for the Dandenong ward. Preference distribution will decide the win for the following two wards with the below candidates leading the primary votes; > Cleeland ward: Angela Long > Noble Park North ward: Lana Formoso
14.01.2022 Group A votes extraction and counting for all ballots processed by the end of the day of Friday 23rd October started yesterday. The below outlines the counting of votes for each wards on these respective days. Monday 26th October... > Cleeland > Dandenong > Noble Park North Tuesday 27th October > Dandenong North > Noble Park > Springvale Central Wednesday 28th October > Keysborough > Springvale North > Yarraman Thursday 29th October > Keysborough South > Springvale South Group B votes counting will commence Saturday 31st October. This will include all ballots received by Friday 30th October and all preference distributions where required.
11.01.2022 Tim Dark in the lead with 33% primary votes for Keysborough ward and Eden Foster also with 33% primary votes for Yarraman. Preference distribution will call it to see who'll be elected for these two wards.
06.01.2022 Congratulations to Richard Lim on being elected for Springvale Central ward with a clear win of 59% of the primary votes. Congratulations is also in order for Sophie Tan for Noble Park ward with 49% of the primary votes, with the official win to be declared via preference distribution. Dandenong ward is too close to call it between candidate Bob Milkovic with 40% of the primaries against sitting councillor Zaynoun Melhem on 38%.
06.01.2022 As this election campaign draws to a close, it has been an interesting experience filled with many surprises and interesting facts, ideas and opinions discovered along the way. I want to thank everyone who took the time to contact me to seek clarification on my stance and sharing with me their concerns. All the best to all candidates standing in all wards and good luck.... Don't forget you have till 6pm this Friday 23rd October to post your ballot packs if you haven't already done so.
