23.01.2022 There wouldnt be many in the Harness Racing Industry who dont know Robbie Dewar....there would be even fewer who would ever say a bad word agaisnt him. Unfortunately Robbie was diagnosed with Parkinsons disease about 3 years back and it has progressed so quickly that Robbie is now in a nursing home struggling to do the things you and I take for granted. Im sure its tough for Wendy and their daughter Bec and thought it would be a good thing to show our love and apprecia...tion to Robbie by helping them all out in their time of need. Free Entry - Gates open from 11.30am With WAs Phase 4 Covid-19 restrictions still in place, all Members and public patrons will receive a wristband on entry, which must be worn at all times on-course. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, the Paceway Pavilion can only accommodate a limited number of guests on race day - the Club strongly encourages everyone wishing to sit in the Pavilion to BOOK YOUR TABLE NOW to avoid disappointment! To book your table please phone the Club on 9531 1941 or EMAIL [email protected] To accommodate the maximum number of people inside the Pavilion and comply with social distancing requirements, please note there will be limited standing room at the bar tables (in front of the bar areas) this week. 10.01.2022 The Belmont Park entry gates will crash back at 11:00 on Saturday for Strickland Stakes Day, which will be the first meeting at a Perth Racing track conducted... during Phase Four of the COVID-19 WA Roadmap. The Strickland Stakes Day meeting will feature nine races, with the Belmont Park Perth action starting at 11:58 and finishing at 4:50. Belmont Park will be fully operational, everyone will be allowed to enter the refurbished facility for free and patrons will be able to enjoy a day at the races with relatively few restrictions, primarily those pertaining to social distancing and only essential personnel accessing racing areas such as the Mounting Yard. Perth Racing looks forward to welcoming all thoroughbred racing fans to Belmont Park, where horseplay lives, from 11:00 on Saturday.
