24.01.2022 I would love to have a year when everything goes smoothly and i can say six months in advance that the event will go ahead. However life seems to dictate that will not happen (maybe next year). YES!!!! we will have a festival this year, despite more issues. It will be along the lines of last year, casual (but fun). I will be announcing the movies to be shown here and on the website shortly. Thank you all, loyal supporters local ant travelers, for your patience and understanding. This year the festival will be on Friday 13th, Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th(morning only). Yes, I know about the date (don't ask). the good news is that as it was last year the entry for all movies will be FREE!

24.01.2022 Help wanted!!! The Halls Gap Film Festival is an iconic Halls Gap event, 2017 will be the 38th annual festival, but we need help. We are looking for new members on our committee and helpers for the festival weekend. You are invited to come and meet our team and find out what you can contribute to the event. Join us at 2pm Livefast, Café Halls Gap on Sunday 6th August to find out more.

20.01.2022 Yes! we have power, everything worked out, thanks to the electrician who worked right up to the last minute. At midday I arrived to see a switchboard which looked like a spagetti bowl and had my doubts. But it all worked out in the end. Thank you to all who attended our opening night, and a special thanks to those long time attendees who came and offered their support. I am looking forward to the rest of the festivla.
