Back then, "Nasi Bungkus" is one of our favourite meal during school time. Its a rice dish topped up with varieties of meat/vegie dish then wrapped tightly with brown paper. Its filling and so affordable for us students during that period . So excited when @garammericamelbourne decided to start doing this menu thing. They have quite an extensive list of selection where you can mix and match yourself, you got to pick 2 of each meat and vegie dish. Some of the great dish we select is Tendon Curry (gulai Kikil), Fried Spiced Chicken (ayam goreng Lengkuas), Vegie Curry (Sayur Lodeh) and Stir fry Potato & Liver (Sambal goreng Kentang,Ati,Ampela). Then you got a spoonful of great Sambal and a piece of that old school style "Kerupuk" (white cracker). Mix it altogether and you have this amazing mix rice dish . On top of this, make sure to order a glass of their Cendol. So perfect for a fine weather especially like later on today, ice cold drink that also can be your dessert. The cendol is quite light and texture is not so dense. You have the option to have the original one with just the gula Melaka or add a scoop of that tasty Durian on top. Yummmm!!!! . If you plan to have the Nasi Bungkus, make sure to always come early (they open from Thurs - Sun 11am-3pm only) because they always runs out pretty quick (we have to come back for twice just to grab one of this).
