24.01.2022 This is a penthouse pool and roof deck refurbishment on the Gold Coast. Some of the membrane may look messy up the walls but thats us feathering the membrane so when its painted out the membrane is not visible. Blake Priscilla & Jacob completed this job over 3 days.

22.01.2022 Roof refurbishment continues. First half finished all rocks moved ready for the second half. Job is going great we’re little behind but only due to the weather. We never started pulling up the old membrane due to todays forecast. Hopefully the second half will be ground and ready for coats this time next week.

17.01.2022 Starting a new project. Full roof strip and re-waterproofing. The existing roof membrane is 40 years old. Bitumen sheet membrane. We are replacing with a polyurethane membrane. I think Blake will hate the sight of stones over the next 6 weeks.

16.01.2022 WASH DOWN DAY! Not many people realise the importance of keeping paintwork up to date (especially exterior). But the fact is - we live in a rather harsh climate... and - the same as if you go out in the sun without sun cream on - you will get burnt - our homes are the same. Without being protected against the sun the paint will fade and ultimately break down costing more in the long run. As you can see in these photos - this house is a bit overdue as the paint has gone chalky or milky. 15.01.2022 Our roof refurbishment continues. We've got the old membrane up and ground off. Thanks to QEpoxy .https://www.facebook.com/Qepoxy-263607201047130/. Completed some crack repairs. Primed and coated. Well now work on the outer walls and get them painted out. Then our acrylic perimeter bandages will be cured and we'll bring the Polyurethane coat to the edge and the paint to the base giving us a seamless transition. Move the rocks and start the process again for the second half of the roof. We've constantly monitored our membrane thickness 2 ways by the square metreage we knew how many drums we needed but we also conducted wet film thickness test. From the pictures you can see we have a beautiful even coat. We have constantly checked the weather forecast so we'd get re-coated all the areas we've removed before this rain arrived.

05.01.2022 Leaking planter box? No matter how good the waterproofing is, poor plant selection will ensure costly repairs. 90mm pipe was full of roots. The original waterproofing however was not done by Gard-It. It was pretty ordinary.
