21.01.2022 Solar panels are tested against 25mm hail at terminal velocity. However, the hailstones that hit the greater Brisbane suburbs of Springfield Lakes, Rosewood and Greenbank on October 31st were in excess of 100mm diameter. That's about the same diameter as a bagel. They caused massive damage to not only solar panels but also roofs, cars and air conditioning units. What we’re beginning to see now is a lot of salespeople going around trying to flog super hail resistant panels.... Our team can confirm after removing 1000+ solar panels in the last 2 weeks, that hail does not discriminate. All brands, types and sizes of panels have been affected by this event. So make sure to have your solar array assessed by a licensed and reliable contractor if you think they might be damaged. Give our team a call if you have any questions! Happy days

11.01.2022 If your considering the switch to solar please do your due diligence before signing the dotted line. Some simple checks can stop you making a cheap decision now that will be costly in the future. 1. Check the company ABN and how long its been active. Also look into if the same ABN has multiple trading names. 2. Dont bother with reviews some of the worst companies in the game have the most reviews. ( Companies pay marketing trolls to write falsified reviews). Read foru...ms this will give you a clearer understanding. 3. Get a referral off someone with a system more than 2 years old, every second person has solar surely someone can help with a referral. 4. Use an electrical contracting company who invests time into apprentices and the community not just an online marketing machine who can fold up and disappear overnight. 5. Paying more doesnt mean your getting the best system. Your spending your hard earned do the research and understand the market price and company your spending your money with. We are Brisbane based but have contacts all over Australia. We can recommend companies who we trust and recognise as genuine players in our field if you require a quote outside of Brisbane.

We direct the system to best match the customers load profile. If more power is being used in the afternoon than the morning we want the majority of panels facing on a westerly aspect. Ground mount systems should be avoided where possible as its a heavy investment with only one purpose. Where possible we encourage and try to find ...alternative solutions such as a new machinery or silage shed. Or improving current electrical infrastructure to use an existing building.
