24.01.2022 More rain is coming so this weekend is a great time to get out there and tidy up your yards

20.01.2022 If you have not sprayed your lawn yet with Herbicides now is the time to spray. Also a good time to do it to stop your dog getting itchy from the flowers, seeds etc from the winter weeds.

17.01.2022 There has been no rain for over 38 days. You will need to start watering your plants. For established plants they only need watering once a week with a hand held hose is fine, but give them a good drink. For new gardens or plants less than 6 months you should water them twice a week. My best advice is when you have your afternoon wind down on a Saturday afternoon have a glass of wine or a beer and enjoy looking at your garden while you are watering it. Always remember to look out for any pesty weeds or future trees that are growing amongst your plants and pull them out while you are watering....enjoy..

16.01.2022 If you want to fertilize now is the time to do it, we just ran around our house and cleaned up anything loose lying around and while we were wet we fertilized the garden.

15.01.2022 August is the best time of year to get on top of those pesty weeds as the growing season is slow. Remember to spray when the sun is at its hottest and not too windy so that the weeds absorb as much of that spray as possible.

14.01.2022 With this hot weather you must water your plants at least once a week. Pots almost everyday. The lawns will come back. Your plants especially if they are small will need some watering.

Have your fertilizer ready for the next time some good rain is predicted and fertilize and then sit back and reap the rewards of the colour in your gardens.
