Chilli and mango - what a rockstar combination! The mango and honey in this recipe lessen the burn and add to the tropical aromas of this awesome and blazingly hot condiment. ... Thanks to its tongue-tingling taste, this hot sauce can turn any meal from eh to aw, yeah! in seconds. Perfect added to scrambled eggs, or drizzled over chicken, prawns or fish. : Chillies can be extremely hot and they can hurt you if you’re not careful. Consider wearing gloves, especially if using Trinidad Scorions and similar. Make sure you wash your hands thoroughly after handling, then rub them down with cooking oil and wash again. And whatever you do, do not rub your eye, nose or mouth or any other body part while handling a chilli!! We’ve all heard stories of ‘that guy’ who, well, you know what we’re talking about! Just don’t! NB: This recipe can be adapted for those who prefer it cooler. Turn off heat and allow to cool slightly before blending everything together carefully and thoroughly with a stick blender. 4. Stir in apple cider vinegar, honey, lime juice and salt. 5. Taste and adjust to your liking - adding vinegar, honey or salt as needed. 6. Pour into pre-sterilised bottles or jars, allow to cool and keep refrigerated. 7. Enjoy!
