18.01.2022 Dear Customers, We wish to advise that as a result of a two and half year battle with the EPA, we can no longer continue to operate our store.We have fought hard to keep our business open which has taken a terrible toll on our family’s health and finances.We have tried to reason with the EPA questioning the fact that the site we lease has been a petrol station since 1938 so how can we be responsible for historical pollution. We have even proven that installations we operate ...are tight and not leaking and that we have not contributed to the pollution.The EPA have relentlessly pursued us, bullying and harassing us to clean the site. A site that does not belong to us and once cleaned will greatly benefit the owners.All arguments have been dismissed and the only reason we have been offered is because the law says we can.The store will close on Saturday 15th of August.
