Just send us some photos and a few words to bring something positive to us all while we are confined at home. A nice, positive way to keep in touch. 17.01.2022 Dear Garden Club members: As Vicki mentioned in an earlier post, it may be some time before we can all get together for a while. So, maybe we can all share some photos from our own gardens. If you know the proper name of the plant, please include. Here's a photo of a purple salvia which is doing very well in my front garden.

10.01.2022 It is with great sadness that we wish to inform our Club members of the passing of Kathleen Mc Dougall, on February 21, 2020 at the age of 81 . Kathleen was a valued member of our Garden Club and enjoyed her 22 years attending our meetings. Kathleen was recently inducted as an Inaugural Member of the Merimbula & District Garden Club, at our 2019 Christmas function. As our first Treasurer, her contribution to the Club was greatly appreciated.... Kathleen was always a friendly, happy and bright person, and will be sadly missed by her friends, daughter and husband, who described her as 'a real gem'.

03.01.2022 Dear Garden Club members, As we are not meeting for a while, I thought I would share with you a lovely thing that has happened in our garden. We planted the eucalypti in the picture only a year ago and it has grown like mad. We planted it for the foliage and had no idea that it would flower so beautifully and only saw these flowers for the first time yesterday. They are sparse at the moment but I expect they will get better and better every day. ... We also drove out towards Ben Boyd's tower and were thrilled to see the bush coming back to life. Norma and I wish every one well and to keep safe over this difficult time, and we will see you all soon when we get back to normal Best wishes, Vicki Telfer
