24.01.2022 I just wanted to extend how grateful I am for the people who have entered my life, and my Shoppe, in recent weeks and months. I've really come across some truly amazing, beautiful and incredible individuals lately who have so much inner strength, power and vitality which is very heart warming to me. Yes, this is probably a bit of a mushy "feels" post, but as I say, we all cross paths for a reason, and whatever that reason is, it doesn't matter right now. Just to witness the everyday passion and triumph that these people achieve every day is incredible. It's what I love most about humanity...

22.01.2022 Had a client today and their hair analysis test results came back... This client has suffered from psoriasis mostly in the past 10 years. The hair analysis showed low levels of gut bacteria and digestive enzymes which contributes to psoriasis, but also showed high sensitivity to GLYCERINE!... Yes. Glycerine is in nearly every single skin care product on the planet, not to mention cosmetics, shampoos, conditioners, sanitizer, liquid soap, some solid soaps, lip balms and some medicated creams. It is a very popular additive in most formulations. Go on...have a look at your bottle of moisturizer and I bet it's in there! I'm happy to inform you that none of our skin care range contain glycerine (except the alcohol rub). So not only does this client have an imbalance of gut bacteria potentially causing the psoriasis, but also a high sensitivity to glycerine which is aggravating it further. I love when we can pinpoint these things through an analysis. Once again, another happy client with money well spent. I look forward to seeing how their skin improves from these small changes. A hair analysis will show up the most obscure intolerances and when you know about it, you can finally do something about it. It's worth the money to get it done.

22.01.2022 HUGE lightning and thunder storm tonight! Tv and lights are glitching like crazy. Went outside and stood in the rain for ages to get some good shots, but unfortunately the lightning kept causing my phone camera to glitch so I didn't get as many as I liked. There was an amazing streak that appeared right above us and I literally ducked because it felt close (maybe 50 or 100m above us!). We saw the sky light up silver and grey with the lightning but we also saw something I've never seen before... the sky lit up an incredible blue/green/aqua colour! It happened in a flash. There's one photo I semi captured but it is more blue in the image than it actually was. Then after the green light, all the street lights went out. Incredible.

19.01.2022 FLASHBACK FRIDAY In the 1800s and early 1900s medicine was very different... it was poisonous and toxic! Physicians often used cyanide, arsenic, mercury, sulphur and a range of other harmful ingredients which claimed to cure ailments. Ummm... No thanks!... In my little shoppe, I have a small selection of old medicine bottles and one of them is nicotine which was used as a pesticide! #oldwest #cyanide #arsenic #medicine #flashback

19.01.2022 It is with sadness that I inform you that Munno para Foodland will not be continuing to stock our BOHO BABY range and the rest of our products. The only item they MIGHT keep is Moss Rocks. If you are a local shopper there and love our stuff, then make sure you get in and stock up before it's taken off the shelf. It's unknown when they will be removed, but we expect within the next 3 weeks. It was nice being able to supply to them for a short period of time and Thank them for... their support. If you want somewhere local to purchase, the closest store will now be Saints Road Foodland in Salisbury, or you can get in contact with Fiona from Thyme for Health in Elizabeth.

15.01.2022 Child care centres across Australia are LOVING this new step when it comes to nappy change practices. Also in support are parents, government officials and members of the Australian Childcare Alliance! It's simple, easy, effective and saves the centre money as well as reduces landfill of up to 33%.... Last year we released a simple tool to improve the hygiene of nappy changes, called Aloe Vera Nappy Spray. It is used in conjunction with normal nappy change routines. The only difference is using a specially formulated spray to assist with the cleaning process. It's backed by plenty of research including a reduction of e-coli in surface testing studies. It's all natural, improves hygiene, soothing and comforting for baby, reduces the amount of nappy wipes used and is one-tenth the cost of wipes! This fits in with the government's National Waste Action Policy Plan and also 5 out of 7 ACECQA standards. Child Care Centres are LOVING this and boasting how it's saving them money and reducing their waste! 04.01.2022 A huge shout out to child care centres in New South Wales! Since the release of our aloe vera nappy spray, NSW has dominated! NSW centres have taken the leap towards a more sustainable, hygienic and gentle approach to genital care by purchasing our new spray and incorporating it into their nappy change routine.... Feedback has been very positive, and although it's a little challenging to remember the added step (of using the spray before wiping), carers are happy that it does exactly what we said it does! We have sent over 6000 emails across Australia, sent hard copies in the mail to multiple child care centre chains and head offices, made hundreds of phone calls and even contacted multiple media places to advertise or write an editorial to raise awareness of this fantastic product.
