12.01.2022 Just a few days before Christmas this year Harry and I lost our Pop. Although gone we have many wonderful memories. It was no secret that of many Grandchildren Harry and Pop had a special bond. He misses Pop dearly, we all do, it’s been a difficult few weeks. Pop was a big fan of Christmas, and so we celebrated as usual during an unusual time. Pop aways supported Harry and I in our endeavours, we were lucky to see him regularly as one of the first to joint our journey almost ...4 years ago. He also let us use he’s trailer as we found our feet, a means of supporting us that has helped us get to where we are faster than we ever could have alone. Pop had a long life, and spent a lot of it giving back to the communities he was involved in. Harry and I are proud to continue to live out these values that have been instilled within our heritage by continuing to give back to the community. We will miss you Pop, we are grateful for all you did for your Family and we will continue to uphold, as you did, the values and legacy that reside within our name. Robert Arkinstall, May you Rest In Peace See more

08.01.2022 COVID-19 Update Hi everyone. For all of you that view our Facebook and Instagram stories you will have been getting our COVID-19 updates. Unfortunately I haven’t had a chance to update on here so I will be backdating the first two updates now and some more tomorrow. ... 13/03/20 Due to COVID-19 we will now be receiving all instructions via call or text prior to arriving at the property. We always love our chatting with client but during this time it is important that we all do our part in preventing the spread of this virus. 24/03/20 Hard decisions have had to be made and will have to be made by businesses all around the world. This includes Gardening A Difference. Last week this meant I contacted my clients to let them know we would get instructions via phone call prior to our visit and would no longer communicate with them at the property. This week’s decision was a little harder. Until things cool off I will now be working solo. This isn’t a decision that has been forces upon be by governmental restrictions, but one I am making at my own accord. I’m lucky, I suppose, that none of my employees rely on me financially, more so having the job as something to do, a boost in confidence and to earn some pocket money. I understand a lot of employers around Australia don’t have this comfort of conscience when making a decision like this. With how bad things are, how bad they are likely to get and how bad it would be if they get it. Its enough of a reason for me to not to want to risk them getting this virus while out in the field when they don’t really have to be there. Deciding to keep Harry home was easy. With his heart condition it makes him risk, there was no way I was going to keep him working. For the rest of the gang I didn’t really know what todo. This to me, like it is to all of you is a new world filled with difficult decisions. What made it easier was a decision I had already made some time ago. Sacrifice now, to be a little better off a little future down the line. With only me working, its going to hurt my pocket. I can’t get all these jobs done myself, I will be running late, and I have my fair share of bills to pay. But I’m going to have to bite my lip because this sacrifice I have made means I’m going to have to struggle now, willingly, in order to preserve tomorrow. Sacrifices are being made all over the world right now. It may be the only way to flatten the curve. And so I wish you all the best. For your health, your heart, and you ability to navigate this time of difficult decisions. George, Gardening A Difference.

01.01.2022 COVID-19 Update 28/03/20 It is unavoidable during times like this that you will ask yourself many questions; ... Like, how am I going to get through this? And, am I going to be ok? I think we would be more successful if instead we are able to ask, how are we going to get through this? and, are we going to be ok? After all, we are now, perhaps more than ever before, all in this together. And so in the name of getting through this together... I would like to announce that any customer of ours that has had to shut down their business or has been laid off from work will not have to add gardening services to the list of budget cuts. To our Clients affected most during this difficult time, our services are now and until better times will continue to be free of charge. Because WE can get though this, But only TOGETHER. . . . #covid #covid-19 #gardening #gardener #brisbane #autismawareness #mentalhealth #giveback
