20.01.2022 Time to have some fun in the garden. Easy to care for, through drought and heavy rain. Colourful too.

20.01.2022 So much to enjoy in the Canterbury garden of Eaglehawk.

19.01.2022 The ABC on Sunday 9 August 2020 showed the story of Dame Elizabeth Murdock's " Cruden Farm and Garden " in Langwarrin, Victoria, near Melbourne. Southern Cross Bus Travel of Bendigo, took quite a few people to visit the farm in Dec 2010. Hard to believe it was 10 years ago. As our club is in recess because of the pandemic, a few photos from that trip will be posted to keep you interested. More will be added in the coming days.

19.01.2022 Garden of the Future, White Hills.

19.01.2022 We all need a laugh these days. A man walked up to a prescription counter in a chemist, tried to speak and had a coughing fit. "What are you trying to say, I can't understand you" said the chemist. The man coughed and spluttered, not able to speak clearly. "Wait" said the chemist. "have this soothing drink, that will help you. The man drank the liquid. "Do you feel better now?" asked the chemist. "Much better" said the man. "Well" asked the chemist, "what is it you wanted to say? " THIS IS A STICK UP!"

19.01.2022 The Wisterias are flowering now. Would be lovely if one could have this archway.

18.01.2022 There's so much more to see in the "Garden for the Future", White Hills.

17.01.2022 On arrival at Cruden farm it was decision time.....what to do first. Some chose the gardens, maybe a coffee, a sit down and chat to get over the long bus ride, or oh! better check out the loo's to start the day.

17.01.2022 2020. We will not forget this year in a hurry. A virus took away most of our daily lives and especially our social life. There will not be an Ag show locally for us this year at all and maybe our social meetings will not resume in the near future either. Here are some pics of 2019 Ag show to keep us in the mood. A before and after.

16.01.2022 Wonderful plants in the Conservatory.

15.01.2022 The Eaglehawk gardens are very well cared for.

11.01.2022 A very enjoyable garden. Make sure one has plenty of time to take it all in at Cruden Park.

10.01.2022 A delightful climber to fill in on your fence is the " Hardenbergia" Happy Wanderer. Gorgeous purple buds opening to a white flower. Hardy to frosts too.

05.01.2022 This time we are exploring the garden in White Hills. If you should go from now on, one will require your water and a hat. There is plenty of seating for those rest times. Grown so much since last there. The recent rains would have been very welcome. To be continued...........
