23.01.2022 Good morning garden friends, don’t forget we will be at the community garden from 3pm today. Bring a hat and water. Maybe a thermos of tea or coffee for smoko. We have only two shovels so maybe bring one from home and if you do make sure it’s clearly identifiable to you. I would love to achieve a completed garden so we can plant into it over the next few weeks. If you have extra seedlings that need a home or seeds that need to be used this year bring them along as well

18.01.2022 We are super excited! The Sauce Studio is back in town this week! Our wall is getting a make over! Thanks to the Longreach Regional Councils RADF Funding, we’ve been to take this opportunity to offer amazing art workshops to our youth members with The Sauce Studio. Watch this space!

17.01.2022 Hey all We are excited to announce the continuing journey of the Longreach Community Gardens (Garden of Youth). We would like to thank all of the efforts that have been previously given and would like to invite old and new friends of the garden to see it continue the journey forwards in the creation of a beautiful and abundant food forest for the community.... We would like to give a quick shout-out to Andy Patterson Landscaping and Richard at Civil Moore who graciously donated wood chips, gravel, and manure. We are meeting on Saturdays from 9 am and Sunday from 3 pm and have heaps of mulching and garden bed building to do so if would like and if you can spare an hour every bit helps to get the work done. Thank you

07.01.2022 Good morning happy people. The community garden would love to see you this weekend. This is everyone’s garden so even just dropping in to have a look and say hello adds to the community vibe. So saying if you have 1/2 hour to spare to help the garden come to life we definitely can use all the help we can get. We will be there Saturday till 9am- 1pm and Sunday afternoon from 3 pm till whenever. Bring coffee and water and snacks if your hungry. Looking forward to meeting you. Rainbow
