25.01.2022 LAST MINUTE OPEN DAY ANNOUNCEMENT! We want to share the last of the Autumn leaves with you and tomorrow - Saturday 8 May- is looking too gorgeous not to share! Sunshine is predicted through to mid afternoon and we’ll be open from 10am until 4pm *it’s possible we’ll close earlier when/if the weather changes but it looks like sunny skies until 2pm.. Thanks to @mishbergs for the photo taken at Tieve Tara today.

21.01.2022 The incredible Dove Tree from China. Now under protection and in limited range although a rarely seen forest with over 50,000 dove trees was found in Sangzhi County in 2003. The eldest tree is currently almost 400 years old and still bears fruit.

19.01.2022 Garden Update We promised to keep you informed about when we could welcome our lovely visitors back into the Gardens of Tieve Tara. Sadly it is very unlikely that we can open this Spring. The safety of our visitors is paramount and we do not have the staff capacity to ensure Covid Safety for all. We realise this will be disappointing to many of you, but unfortunately we are not set up in a way to make it viable to open safely. We will be bringing you regular 'sights and sound...s' from the garden over Spring, which we hope will help lift your spirits and allow you to imagine you are actually in the gardens! We sincerely hope that Autumn '21 sees the world in a much safer place and that we can invite you all back with open arms.
