15.01.2022 What an absolute blast we had last night!! We were lucky enough to attend a beautifully put together dinner at Sooma restaurant, showcasing the regions fascina...ting truffles. Deb, Steve and the team at Sooma put together an incredible 5 course menu, paired with some of the regions gorgeous wines. I must also point out I am not a Prosecco fan at all, although last night we had the privilege of tasting @pemberleyofpemberton very new Prosecco with our first course, and oh my gosh WOW!!! This was delish! And will definitely be a new favourite in our house-if you havent yet, do yourself a favour and grab a bottle of this yummy bubbly! One of the dishes featured our very own Southern Forest Fungi, a mix of oyster and lions mane mushrooms, to top quite easily the BEST home made sourdough we have ever had and truffled goats cheese, and without being biased of course, this was hands down the best meal of the night! Deb what you did with our mushrooms was amazing! There wasnt a single thing you could have done more or less with this dish because it was simply perfect. We enjoy working with you bringing you quality produce and seeing how you turn it into a masterpiece, and we are constantly looking forwards to each weekend where we get to see you again, bringing you our babies for you to work your magic with.
