24.01.2022 And to round out the Mosaic Damascus knives is this absolute stunner...

23.01.2022 After a little time off to relax, we're back in the swing of things! Our recent students have been creating some really great knives, and you can tell they enjoyed their day of forging/creating by the smiles on their faces here's the two very different knives that Karl and Cam created recently - Karl did our 2-day Damascus workshop whilst Cam did the 1-day Damascus workshop... love your work fellas!

23.01.2022 If you happen to be in the area today or tomorrow, we have two students out in the Studio at Seppeltsfield doing our 2-day Damascus knife making workshop and if you'd like to check out what they're getting up to, enter via JamFactory (not the Studio entrance) from 11am and you can stand in the viewing area to see what's going on... the forge, power hammer, press and other bits and pieces will be on view! Recent students Cam and Alan spent their day crafting kitchen knives - Cam did our 1-day Damascus workshop and Alan did our 1-day Carbon steel workshop... great results don't you think!!

22.01.2022 Shout out to all of our suppliers, both small and large, who provide us with really top quality products. Our business and our offerings are only as great as they are because of these people and companies. THANK YOU to all of you - you know who you are

22.01.2022 Sally and her dad Trevor spent a day doing our Carbon steel workshop recently... and judging by the smiles on their faces, they enjoyed their day and their creations! Well done you two!

21.01.2022 Can you believe how cold it is today - 8 degrees here in the Barossa!! Nice to see the rain again though... Definitely keeping the home fire burning and the forge stoked in the Studio! Recent students Maverick and Wayne spent two days forging and manipulating steel into beautiful knives for themselves doing our 2-day Damascus knife making workshop...

19.01.2022 Leigh came in to do his 1-day Damascus knife making workshop recently and you can see why Baz had a sore neck at the end of the day! The long and the short of it!! Leigh could double in for an actor - slight Sam Elliott lookalike??

18.01.2022 Another creation out of the Gardner Knives Studio is this delightful Mosaic 'Basket Weave' Damascus Brisket knife... the Spalted Maple handle has come up a treat as well! Love your work Baz...

16.01.2022 Paul was in on his own doing his 2-day Damascus workshop - check the knife out that he forged for himself... a great random-pattern Damascus blade with a beautiful piece of Australian Ringed Gidgee for his handle. Nice!

15.01.2022 SOLD This Mosaic 'River Damascus' kitchen knife with a beautiful Ringed Gidgee handle is on its way to a 'soon-to-be-very-happy' birthday boy! He doesn't know about his beautiful knife but it might just be THE best present ever!! What a wife...

15.01.2022 Graham and David enjoyed their two days of Damascus knife forging judging by the smiles on their faces!

14.01.2022 Damascus was the flavour of the weekend just gone, with Jarrod doing our 2-day workshop and Michael doing our 1-day workshop... the random patterns look great on their two very different knives don't you think?

09.01.2022 Stojan and Ike spent two days together in our 2-day Damascus knife making workshop and the photos show some of the processes that our students are involved in that lead to the creation of their beautiful knives...

03.01.2022 If you're in the Barossa today or over the weekend, we have students doing our Carbon steel workshop and you'd be more than welcome to call in and see what's going on from the viewing area in our Studio - this area is open from 11am onwards... Recent students Steve and Dane (who it turns out knew each other from years ago so they were able to have a nice catch up!) spent two days here doing the 2-day Damascus knife making workshop along with eating oysters!! Steve owns Gazander Oysters and kindly brought some with him... another reason to visit the Barossa because Gazander Oysters are at the Barossa Farmers Market on Saturday mornings - visit the Farmers Market Facebook page to see when they'll next be here... now back to the knife forging photos!
