23.01.2022 Did you know....normal powerpoints can be swapped out for 4 way powerpoints like this without any alteration to the surface behind? Especially handy on tiles or splash backs hey? Of course we don’t mind getting out the tile grinder for totally new power points...but when there is already a single or double PowerPoint installed, this is a relatively quick and inexpensive way to add some functionality without making any permanent changes! #downwithdoubleadapters https://www.instagram.com/p/CETI6RBhW_T/?igshid=j9tvne63g7mh

Whilst leaving the NBN’s asset where it is, we are able to run new cables to a more convenient spot in your house for the main router! 15.01.2022 Do you know what one of these is? Its a circuit breaker and safety switch all in one. It’s tricky to explain how they work, and I saw a funny picture of someone’s explanation in the 2nd photo. Of course you don’t need to know why and how these work, but I’m here to tell you they are a pretty incredible little component and a vital part of having safe electricity in your house. If your switchboard at home looks anything like the 3rd photo, please ensure you never accidentally get a shock, because there is nothing protecting you! Or, give us a FaceTime call so we can look at organising an upgrade so that it looks a little more like the GB electrical switchboard in the last pic:)

11.01.2022 Throw back to my earlier commercial days! Was awesome to work on a sub station that is now powering a building with some 300 odd appartments! With restrictions easing, we can’t wait to get back to all your projects and electrical needs. 10.01.2022 We attended a fault today for a Footscray client who’s lights were dimming and power was dropping out occasionally. After some quick testing we tracked the problem down to the main connection at the front of the property. The local power authority were called as it was a loose connection on their side. A situation like this can cause dangerous electrical issues and even start a fire. If you ever notice anything abnormal with your lights and power, be sure to get it checked by a licensed electrician even if it doesn’t seem serious:) #safetyfirst #loosewiresstartfires
