20.01.2022 Upon directions and instructions given by the relevant authorities the Garfield Golf Club is closed for all play until at least Monday April 13. Relevant information regarding the closure reasoning can be obtained by searching www.golf.org.au/covid - 19.

15.01.2022 With the easing of restrictions, the club can now resume very limited operation. Bookings are essential. Members can book via the Our Golf web site and by visitors by calling the clubhouse on 5629 2794. If we can get you on the course, groups are limited to 2 people and you must wear a face mask at all times. Please be aware that the restrictions has greatly increased our staff workload. Please be patient and respectful.

14.01.2022 The Garfield Golf Club is now open but with limitations as per current Victorian Government directives. If you wish to have a game, you must book in advance. Members can book through the Our Golf website (https://booking.ourgolf.com.au/#/login). NOTE: Any members who are unsure about setting up their Our Golf user name and password can contact the clubhouse on 5629 2794 for directions.... Non-Members can book by calling the clubhouse on 5629 2794. The clubhouse remains closed but limited take-away snack and beverages are available.

11.01.2022 With the recently announced Stage 4 restrictions, all golf and clubhouse facilities will be closed for the duration. Please stay safe so we can welcome you all back once we reopen.

08.01.2022 The re-introduction of Stage 3 COVID restrictions is now severely limiting our ability to accommodate players. Key points being: If you live outside the "restricted area" we are unable to accommodate you. Please try Drouin, Warragul or Lang Lang. Bookings are essential and can be made by members through the Our Golf web site and by visitors by calling the clubhouse on 5629 2794. 08.01.2022 It's been a couple of weeks since the last post but our situation remains the same. Bookings are essential and can be made by members through the Our Golf web site and by visitors by calling the clubhouse on 5629 2794. As a small club, we cant afford the additional staff needed to operate the clubhouse in accordance with the Victorian Government guidelines. The clubhouse remains closed but limited take away snack and beverages are available though the golf shop servery windo...w's. Although the clubhouse is closed, golf competitions and social play is up and running close to normal. The heavy rains in May have left us with a few wet spots but generally the fairways are the best they have ever been at this time of the year. If you like slick green's we definitely have what you want. During the Level 3 restrictions we were able keep our course staff working thanks to JobKeeper and the unrestricted access to the greens enabled them to preform a little magic on their condition and speed..
