19.01.2022 SAVE THE DATE 11th DECEMBER Garfield Football Club end of year get together... all 3 clubs from the senior club, junior & netball clubs are all invited to a COV...IDSafe end of year catch up on Friday December the 11th from 5.30pm. There will be a free BBQ, the bar will be open (18+) and entertainment will be provided. The seniors will be training on this day and junior players are encouraged to have a kick too. 15.01.2022 IMPORTANT UPDATE Dear Stars Family, We unfortunately received word late last night from the council, officially closing all community sport once again for at least the next 6 weeks.... Due to these new Covid 19 restrictions in our area unfortunately there is no ability for any season or training to continue as planned. Please consider this our official cancelation. We would like to thank everyone for your patience and help during this period and we look forward to seeing you all back in 2021. We are truly proud of how you have supported one another through this. Please be advised that you are allowed to still exercise but with the following restrictions -Outdoor exercise and recreation is limited to you and the members of your household, or you plus one other person if you do not live with them. If not, you'll see self guided training stations available for anyone to utilise to improve their fitness and skills. Thanks to Cardinia Shire Council and many others, videos are now going up on our BRAND NEW WEBSITE to ensure you can complete each station correctly! With the help of so many of our club members this site is ...now live! 07.01.2022 Ahh 2020, what a season! (Cough!) In true Stars style however, we will embrace the positives of our undefeated year, including some fabulous volunteering efforts from so many ladies and gents from our coaching crew, our committee, our A grade team and those other kind souls who simply chose to help. It’s really been a big year behind the scenes for grants that will see our courts resurfaced, yay, a scorers booth installed and much more ready for a smashing start to 2021. ... 01.01.2022 Hey Stars Fam! Remember, coaching applications are now open for junior teams and C grade so if you're interested or know someone who is then get on it and get excited for 2021! Lets face it, 2020 was a bit of a bust so we're prepping for a heck of a year next season Also If you're a junior parent or were a senior player this year and are interested in having a say at this years AGM please remember that social membership fees of $15 are due by next Monday - August 31st....
