14.01.2022 Yesterday we welcomed two special visitors to our school, Mr Palmer ( School Reviewer) and Mrs Bugjea ( Peer Reviewer). The students, parents and staff took great pride in 'showcasing' the great learning taking place at Gargett School.

11.01.2022 Fire Safety Talk Our prep-year 2 along with the Pinnacle students enjoy an afternoon with the Walkerston Fire Station crew. Thank you Mrs Strang for hosting this session.

11.01.2022 Learning doesn't stop for our teachers or teacher aides. A small group of teaching principals, teacher aides from Gargett, Eton, and Marian schools attend the Phonemic Awareness Training.

06.01.2022 School Support Staff Recognition Week is on 7 to 11 September, 2020. This is an opportunity for you to acknowledge the essential work done by all school support staff to help facilitate teaching and learning. Education doesn't happen without these wonderful people! Thank you Mrs Stratford ( BSM) and Mr Jennings ( groundscare) for the exceptional job that you both do for our students, staff and school community. We appreciate you!

06.01.2022 Mrs Turpin kept students busy making these beautiful thank you cards for our Support Staff. Mrs Stratford and Mr Jennings were presented with their special cards and thanked for the wonderful work they bring to our school.

05.01.2022 Year 6 students, staff and families had a lovely night celebrating the year 6 Graduation. Kiowa, Dylan, Ms Tass, Mr D and Mrs Parry ( P&C President) presented speeches throughout the evening. A great night was had by all. Thank you to all staff and specialist teachers who attended and to the following businesses for their support: Criterion Hotel, Finch Hatton and Tiff & Co Gourmet Cupcakes and Custom Cakes.
