23.01.2022 Are you behind with your tax returns and receiving Child Care Subsidy (CCS)? If you and/or your partner have not lodged your 2018-19 Individual tax return with the ATO by 31 March 2021, your access to ongoing Child Care Subsidy (CCS) will stop. This means you will be paying the full cost of childcare. If you are not required to lodge a tax return for 2018-19 but have not yet informed the ATO or Services Australia, you should notify them by 31 March 2021 (https://www.ato.g...ov.au//notify-us-if-lodgment-is-not-requ/). We also suggest you notify Services Australia. Note: If you requested an extension to lodge the Individual 2018-19 tax return with the ATO for after 31 March 2021, this will not prevent Services Australia from stopping access to the CCS. Services Australia can assist those who have special circumstances preventing them from lodging before the deadline. Don't get caught short!
