06.01.2022 Garrmalang Festival is back in 2021 and we’re thrilled to announce award-winning musical duo Electric Fields as the headline performance! Celebrating the artistic richness of First Nations culture across Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th of May at Darwin Entertainment Centre, Garrmalang will once again bring incredible music, art and culture right into the heart of Darwin city. Saturday’s celebrations will see Electric Fields Music on The Playhouse stage, with the rare and beaut...iful voice of Zaachariaha Fielding - who often sings in his traditional languages of the Anangu people - and the brilliance of producer Michael Ross. Electric Fields’ music ranges from soulful pop, to epic-scale electronic works, through to intensely intimate story-songs, creating a striking and haunting merging of living traditional culture with electronic music. Garrmalang is Darwin’s only major multi-arts event led by a First Nations creative team. In 2021 the Festival welcomes local co-creative directors Ben Graetz and Nina Fitzgerald. Save the date and celebrate the world’s oldest living culture with us. Tickets are on sale now to Electric Fields book now to avoid disappointment! Watch this space as the full Festival program is released mid-April. Tickets at yourcentre.com.au #GarrmalangFestival
