22.01.2022 The new 21 foot snapper boat is now for sale, she is traditional timber carvel construction planked with African cedrata, keel and deadwoods jarrah, principle dimensions are; length 21ft x beam 8ft x draft 2.5ft, powered by a Yanmar 3ym30ae 30hp diesel. 20.01.2022 new 28ft huon pine whaleboat being built for the local port fairy heritage boat group ,working with me on construction is rob whitehead who is a member of the group , all timber is huon pine , fastenings copper and bronze , planking is lapstrake ,the design is what was used for off beach whaleing at port fairy in the early 1800s

14.01.2022 After a break from the hull stage we now have finished building the port fairy heritage boats new whaleboat replica , the group have now moved it to one of the port of port fairy sheds for timber oiling and finishing touches , it has been a great project to be involved in , will be good to see her in the water

14.01.2022 Gerhard Wilmink on right with new owner of Johanna Cherie Tony Alexander , we built her for Gerhard in 1983. He has fished for crayfish and shark out of Apollo Bay with her for the last 32 years. Tony will fish for crayfish from King island Tasmania, we wish him all the best.
