22.01.2022 Throwback to last Sunday! I think it's safe to say everyone had a great day at the Ted O'Sullivan 9s. Big congratulations to Sinn Fein for taking the cup home for Hurling, Camogie & Mens Intermediate Football, Pearses for winning both Ladies Intermediate & Senior Football & Garryowen for winning the Mens Senior Football.

20.01.2022 The time has come...We are back this week!

19.01.2022 It is with great sadness that we have lost one of our greatest club men, Ted O’Sullivan, today. Ted was a Garryowen stalwart who gave almost all of his life in Australia to Garryowen. He was involved with nearly every team over the years and did unbelievable work in recent years with the annual Garryowen 9s tournament. His unwavering engergy and gentle smile made him your friend immediately. Our thoughts are with Ted’s family at this time. May he rest in peace.

15.01.2022 Tomorrow’s layout of the pitches & amenities setup to adhere with COVID-19 guidelines, we advise that ALL players & management use individual water bottles. Please socially distance where possible, carry a face mask on your person at ALL times and use hand sanitisers when needed.... Food, drinks, toilets, showers, water tap & club house located as seen on map. ALL amenities will be clearly sign posted. 15.01.2022 Big day on May 3rd for all clubs in Victoria. We may not be able to play games but it won’t stop us all being competitive in raising money and running for Dan. #doitfordan do what you can guys and stay safe.

15.01.2022 We are delighted to be taking part and running 400km on Sunday 3rd for Do it for Dan. Any donation will help get this little guy get the treatment he needs. We are looking for all Garryowen members past and present to get involved and do their part.

07.01.2022 Gentle reminder to all attending once again... Due to COVID restrictions the Garryowen 9’s will be an outdoor event. There will be no access to the sports hall (with the exception of changing rooms/showers/toilets/mothers room). We advise clubs to bring down multiple gazebos for their playing teams to help provide shade/club hub through the day. It is also recommended to bring picnic blankets for extra grass comfort. Or umbrellas if we're not so lucky with the weather. Unfor...tunately, due to COVID we cannot provide tables and chairs. There will be a physio/first aider at the event. This location will be clearly marked for those attending. In the case of an emergency please do not hesitate to call emergency services. The defib will be located by the physio.
