18.01.2022 New York reminiscing from a few months ago.

13.01.2022 Collage and paint combine. I love the whole process of collage and paint. I love experimenting and getting messy. I worked on this artwork on and off for years. A few days ago I came up with the idea of changing the cross on the left of the painting into an acrobat. I am really excited about the result and all I need to do now is get it framed.

11.01.2022 Recycling on my mind. When faced with a well loved wooden sculpture of mine deteriorating due to the ravages of the weather over many years I decided to dismantle the sculpture and keep what was salvageable. I was given an old frame and decided to glue the wooden remnants on to the frame and some other pieces I had found in hard rubbish. I then set to to paint the remaining surface of the frame with black and white paint. I loved the process and also the finding of beauty in pieces that otherwise would be discarded and lost forever.
