25.01.2022 Yesterday and today I have been doing all the tidying up and prep work ready for painting, it’s coming along fantastically. On Monday I was fixing a retic system that just wouldn’t work properly. My background in electrical engineering proved useful when one of the problems I found was that the retic controller was wired up incorrectly, soon fixed that problem

23.01.2022 Back at work. Coco is delighted to see me. She is usual Loco Coco. First job is fitting reticulation.

20.01.2022 Today was building a colorbond fence day, very challenging with asbestos, down pipes, retic pipes and tree roots. Had to redesign 3 times and work from the wrong end. Challenging, but it’s looking good. Now I’m hacking a bougainvillea ... ouch



18.01.2022 Today was clearing two verges of couch grass, huge job as the grass on the second verge was deep in the sand below the mulch, absolutely dead on my feet but they look so much better and it looks like a home again.

12.01.2022 Yesterday and today’s work. Patching and prep work plus building the metal garden edging into tree rings to keep the grass off and put some nice flowers in.

10.01.2022 Today was a lockable door handle fitting kind of day, looks good and saves mums sanity from intruding children.

09.01.2022 Today I’ve been assisting in cutting and fitting the cement weatherboards to the back of this Granny flat. We did a great job.

08.01.2022 My first go a cutting and fitting the concrete sheeting, did the strip to the left and at the bottom. Had it’s moments but looks good.

07.01.2022 Today I’m doing something quite different. Pulling up all the everlastings, as they die back, and removing the seed heads for use next year.

06.01.2022 Back at work after a few days off with a dirty rotten cold, most annoying. Today I’m washing down a house, washing fly screens, cleaning windows and cleaning the driveway in a bit of a spruce up for Christmas. As you can see it makes quite a difference.
