21.01.2022 Its that time again! Next week the team will be heading out to the East side APY Lands and we hope to see a lot of our regular customers and gain a few more to start their journey to get their full drivers licence.

21.01.2022 Yesterday at Ernabella we had 3 VORTS passed with flying colors and 1 learner theory test. Today we have a team with the Red Cross child seat training from Fregon and also have a team in Oak Valley today and tomorrow. A team will be in Yalata on Thursday.

20.01.2022 Congratulations to Gavin for passing his VORT in Amata yesterday. Make sure you come and see the team early today with any licencing questions or for a quick lesson.

19.01.2022 Yesterday at Fregon the team had two VORTs passed, two learner theory test passed and a few lessons. In Oak Valley they had several lesson. Today one of the teams has moved to the PY KU at Mimili and one team is still in Oak Valley, come down for a lesson or enquiry.

19.01.2022 Hi all, an update! Recently I have attended SA Metropolitan Fire Service Adelaide Road Awareness Program (RAP), one held at Trinity College parents evening and it was so good that I went again at the Arkaba Hotel 2 weeks ago with fellow driving instructors. The program empowers P platers to take responsibility for their actions, looking after our mates, & to speak up. The stories shared by a quadraplegic & a father that lost his wife & 2 daughters was both compelling & emoti...onal. Very confronting & graphic - a must see! I will be away with On the Right Track Remote in MT Lands training from 5/6 to 9/6, will resume lessons as normal 12/6. Heres a picture from a recent visit to APY Lands Indulkana. Hope everyone is travelling well.

13.01.2022 Local schools reopen this week so if you are driving, please slow down and pay attention when kids are present especially during before and after school pic...k-ups. Motorist must slow down to 25km/h between school zone signs when children are present, at school crossings when the lights are flashing and when passing a school bus that has stopped to pick up or drop off children. Children look to adults to provide guidance, so we all have a responsibility to educate children about road safety. If youre driving with children in the car, demonstrate good habits by driving safely at all times. With children heading to and from school during peak times it is important to also remember safety at nearby rail level crossings for all motor vehicles, cyclists and pedestrians. By exercising a little extra care and caution, we can make school zones safe for drivers, pedestrians, cyclists and bus users.

10.01.2022 Hi all, as you may be aware in April the State Government ceased all driver training and tests until further notice. In light of recent news I am excited to share that if all goes ahead I will be able to recommence driving lessons from June 8 (stage 2). I greatly look forward to seeing students again soon. For now I will continue working on my garden!

10.01.2022 Last week we had a team on the APY lands and the MT lands. It was a little quiet on the MT lands, they had more luck on the APY lands but all in all it was another good week back on the lands for the On The Right Track Team

This trip we celebrated Garys birthday along the way and made e...ven more memories with everyone. Thanks to the MT lands for such an awesome week, cant wait for the next visit. 05.01.2022 Im very proud to advertise the work of the SA Metropolitan Fire Service Adelaide who conduct about 200 two-hour presentations of their Road Awareness Programme a year, aimed at empowering P platers to take responsibility, in particular about "saving our mates". I have attended a number of presentations in the past 4 years and have picked up on road safety phrases & philosophies which I include in my day to day training. This new sticker and my other from Professional Driver Trainers Association SA really prove that you cant miss a driving instructors car!!

02.01.2022 Attention Gawler drivers! It has recently come to our attention that there is some confusion over the right turn onto Main North Road from Tulloch Road at Gawler Green. This intersection is notorious for traffic jams and long queue waits. Many of you will be pleased to learn that under section 138 of the Australian Road Rules, you are allowed to drive along a painted median strip for 50 metres to enter or leave a road or to enter a turning lane immediately after the painted... line. Hopefully this clears up any confusion. Feel free to message in any other road clarifications you may be wondering about, Gary would love to help (in fact talking about road rules is a favourite past time of his!)
