23.01.2022 A mate of mine came out with a corker yesterday, he said,"I'm like a slug on the cabbage of life". I'm not sure what he mean't but I love it, just got to work out who I can offend with such as a remark

17.01.2022 I noticed Blueberries $7-50 a punnet at Woolies yesterday that's rather expensive. Avocado's 3 for $5 at Coles which I think is good value. I'm going to check in with a few growers next week to see how the local berry crop is shaping up.

17.01.2022 Have you bought an Avocado and found a small hard lump just under the skin. It's caused by an insect that stings the fruit. Although the flesh is good to eat you could easily break a tooth if you miss it and they make slicing and spreading avocado's hard work. This fruit will always be rejected by the supermarkets but will find its way to consumers via markets and roadside stalls. A good way to spot fruit with stings is to look for a small raised area on the skin that may have marks resembling a #, yes that's right a hash. This top tip was brought to you by me because I can't sleep.

15.01.2022 Local Strawberries are being harvested today from the Glasshouse region. The fruit is destined for the Sydney and Melbourne markets where it will achieve the optimum return for the grower. Only when supplies satisfy demand do we see fruit pushed into regional and local markets. I worked hard for local growers last year at a time of over supply but unless we are prepared to pay $4 a punnet or $16/kg there is absolutely nothing I can do to divert supplies away from southern markets.

09.01.2022 Good job I like you lot, I've just invested in a brand new van to make things a little easier for me. My van is your van, if you need something picked up or delivered just message me. I don't mind moving the odd bit of contraband but I draw the line at people smuggling, drugs or anything that would put me in prison. Okay, my plan is to start back sometime in June once the weather settles down until then I'm fishing. BTW if you know anyone who needs help with their fishing I can offer my services as a guide. I'm as cheap as chips and can provide everything.
