20.01.2022 The inflation rate rose just 0.3% in last quarter which is well below expectations. This new data suggests the RBA will now have the green light to cut rates next Tuesday by a minimum of 0.25%. Hopefully we can all back a winner at the Melbourne Cup and get a significant rate cut at the same time :)

17.01.2022 Good news!!! The Reserve Bank just cut variable interest rates by 0.25% so hopefully the banks will pass this on in the next couple of days, and we will all have cheaper home loans!!

10.01.2022 Reserve Bank has reduced the official interest rate again today, this time by 0.25%. The banks will now consider their position and I will post on here once they have made their decision in passing the rate cut on......... 07.01.2022 Well as we all know by now the Reserve Bank reduced the official interest rate by 0.5% but will the Banks pass it on........ So far -Bank of Queensland have passed on 0.35% and NAB 0.32% so good but not great!! There are a couple of banks with special deals at the moment, including a 2 or 3 year fixe rate loan @ 5.99%. Let me know if I can help you find the best deal :)

02.01.2022 Reserve Bank leaves interest rates unchanged, though there is an indication they are open to dropping rates at their next meeting on 1st May. There are still some great rates around - give me a call.......
