24.01.2022 Never skip this meal!!!!! Nope I'm not talking about breakfast, rather the meal after your workout. Many skip this meal thinking it will undo the calories burnt in the gym. But research has shown time and time again that about 15g of protein and 20-30g of carbs (good ones) soon after training will refuel your body, promoting muscle recovery, energy levels and ultimately build a leaner physique.

05.01.2022 TARGETING TUCK SHOP ARMS! A common concern I'm asked from clients "how do I get rid of these "tuck shop arms?".... Targeting specific body fat areas (spot reduction) refers to the mistaken belief that fat can be targeted for reduction from a specific area of the body and that it can be achieved through exercise.... It’s a pursuit that just doesn’t go away. Consumer misconception, keen marketing, and "blind" faith keep it alive, but past research shows it’s impossible time and time again. If you want to reduce your "tuck shop arms" you need to lose over all body weight (reduce the amount of calories going in vs coming out). You can however, increase muscle mass and tone in specific areas. For the "tuck shop arms area" specifically do plenty of pushing motions where the arms extend through a full range of motion e.g. -Chest Press / Shoulder Press / Triceps Extensions. Another important factor is where your macro-nutrients come from. To ensure progression you need to know your numbers. How much you expend (calories) per day? What deficit you need in order to manipulate your weight? And what macro-nutrients breakdown you need to help you achieve your goals?
