24.01.2022 It was great to catch up with Andrew and Keld from APPEA to get an update on gas exploration in the Beetaloo Basin. Yesterday’s Federal Budget delivered significant funding to undertake Strategic Basin Plans which is important to the development of gas resources in the Territory.

17.01.2022 APPEA welcomed the opportunity to visit Empire Energy's exploration drilling at Carpentaria-1 in permit EP-187 last week. It's exciting news with the intersection of liquids rich gas in the Velkerri Shale and we look forward to the next phase of their exploration program. The Hon Angus Taylor MP, the Hon Dr Sam McMahon, and the Hon Lia Finocchiaro MLA also attended to see the operation first hand.... We have a tremendous opportunity to continue to turn the Territory’s existing and prospective natural resources into long-term prosperity, creating more jobs, driving investment and increasing economic growth.
