21.01.2022 The Minister for Regional Development and Manufacturing, Glenn Butcher - Member for Gladstone has announced four companies have been awarded six new gas #exploration tenders to explore areas close to their existing infrastructure and get more gas to market quickly: https://bit.ly/New-Gas-Tenders Minister Butcher said "#Queensland’s gas and manufacturing industries support more than 200,000 jobs now. Supporting exploration maintains a pipeline of future resources projects and keeps gas flowing to our manufacturers. 19.01.2022 Gladstone Ports Corporation has released data detailing #LNG exports breached the 2 million mt/year mark for the first time ever during October 2020. The data showed GPC’s three export terminals shipped a combined 2.011 million mt up 1% year-on-year, and 9% higher than the volume shipped during September. The previous record monthly export volume was 1.99 million mt set in December 2017. 08.01.2022 The Department of Environment and Science (Queensland Science [DES]) has opened a new online portal that gives the public improved access to environmental licences and permits held in Queensland. GasFields Commission Queensland sees this as a wholly positive step towards improving public access to data held by DES that relates to the administration and enforcement of activities authorised under the Environmental Protection Act 1994.
